IPR AES Recording Competition 2006

Below, in the left column, you will find ten stereo mixes as submitted by students. At right, you can compare the "mastered" versions.  (Keep in mind I tweaked these at my office desktop.)

Initially the goal was just to even out the levels - some tracks were heavily processed, had a "military hair cut" and were kissing digital zeroes, while others were in need of processing (the latter preferred)

The secondary goal resulted in more aggressive processing - to make these widely divergent racks "fit" together for this compilation.

Feel free to let me know what you think, good or bad.

PS: I need to either convert Track-11 into a streamable surround file or mix it to stereo.
